Stuff, stuff, and more stuff

I went to the gym today and worked out with a friend of mine. It was pretty cool actually. I want to go more often but I don't have the time. Between school, Boy Scouts, shooting club, play practice, and daily life, it's hard to get away for a couple of hours.
But today I did. I was suppose to meet her there at 7:00-which I did. But she, was late! It was okay though. I didn't mind. For an hour and a half we lifted weights, ran on treadmills. It was sort of relaxing. I've wanted to get in shape for a while. Since I want to join the Marine Corps I need to start working on that. But the main reason I'm doing it is because I have to finish the Personal Fitness merit badge so I can try and finish getting Eagle Scout. I have to do a physical fitness plan for three months. It's a daunting (I think I spelled that wrong.) task, but I'm up to it.
On a more serious note, I've been reading my blog buddy, Josh's blog site, and he has some good points about church and God and stuff. To be blunt, I'm not very spiritual. I don't have much faith, and I don't very often pray. But it's not because I want to be that way. Sure, it's a personal choice that one has to make--to serve God or Satan. There's a scripture that says you can't serve two masters. It's either one or the other--that simple.
I have to go now. I want to write more, but it's late, I have school tomorrow, I need to sleep. I will talk more about this later.

School

I really hate school. I know it's necessary and all that, but I just hate it. The kids drive me nuts, certain teachers annoy me, they have pointless rules. It all adds up to a thoroughly maddening day.
I've come up with a theory of what makes the days so bad for me. It goes like this: Almost no high school student gets enough sleep every night. Either by choice or not, we all get to school tired and wanting to sleep. Sadly, we can't. All we can do is sit there. Sitting while sleepy is not a good combination. The result is an amplified problem--we get sleepier. If there was a way we could move around during the day, other than walking between classes, that would make things so much better for me.
Now don't get me wrong, not every day is a bad one. Some are worse than others, but I never really have a great day. Pretty much the same thing happens every day. There is no variety.
Anyway, I want to get out of school. I'm sure that once I get out I'll want to get back in. But, hey, I'm a kid. It's my chance to complain.

The Daytona 500

Well, another season of NASCAR is upon us. This year's Daytona 500 was okay. If definitely wasn't the best. At least Jimmie Johnson didn't win.
